  • A key to saving money with E-ZPass on the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, and other toll roads, bridges, and tunnels is making sure you keep an active tag properly mounted in your car or truck.

  • If you need mounting strips to move your NJ E-ZPass transponder to a new vehicle, you can request them by logging into your account at ezpassnj.com or by calling the NJ E-ZPass Customer Service Center at 888-AUTO-TOLL (888-288-6865)

  • Heavy trucks with a registered weight of 10,000 pounds or more are prohibited north of Interchange 105 on the Garden State Parkway.

  • The New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway utilize “Variable Speed Limit Signs” to adjust speed limits based on road, traffic, and weather conditions, improving safety and traffic flow.

  • The New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway are two of the busiest toll roads in North America.  Last year,  747 million vehicles traveled a total of 12.8 billion miles on the two roadways. That’s the equivalent of 513, 321 trips around the earth.

  • All 21 service areas on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway have been replaced or rehabilitated since 2014. Click on “Service Areas” under the Travel Tools tab for a list of service area locations and information on the services each provides.
